Presentation Title:Reserch Progress on the Nb-modified LiMnFePO4 and LiFePO4
Abstract:
The doping of niobium ions in the synthesis of lithium manganese iron phosphate material has beneficial effects. Niobium ions can alter the material's band structure, reduce its resistance, and enhance the diffusion coefficient of lithium ions. The incorporation of niobium changes the crystal structure, expanding the diffusion pathways for lithium ions, which is advantageous for the high-rate performance of the material. Additionally, the distribution of niobium can further promote grain boundary fusion, thereby increasing the material's packing density and powder conductivity.
Bio:
Guangchuan Liang , professor at Hebei University of Technology and a doctoral supervisor. He has been honored with titles such as Shandong Province's Taishan Industry Leading Talent, Hebei Province's 'Three Threes' Outstanding Talent of the New Century, and Hebei Province's Excellent Postdoctoral Researcher. He serves as the director of the Academic Committee of Shandong Province Energy Storage Battery Technology Innovation Center and the director of the Shandong Province Engineering Research Center for Key Technologies of Energy Storage Batteries. He has been engaged in research on lithium-ion batteries and materials for a long time. As the principal investigator, he has undertaken key special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hebei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Shandong Province Science and Technology Support Program. He has won eight provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards. He has published over 100 high-level papers indexed by SCI and obtained more than 100 patents. He has also authored 6 monographs.
