Bio:
Dr. Wangda Li is the Co-Founder and CTO of TexPower. Since establishing TexPower in Houston, Texas, USA in 2020, he led the efforts to raise Seed and Series A funds for the company and designed a 15-ton small pilot facility, capable of producing state-of-the-art nickel-based and iron-based cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Wangda earned his Ph.D. from Prof. Arumugam Manthiram's research group at the University of Texas at Austin and developed a deep insight of the composition-structure-morphology-property relationship of battery cathode materials. He is the inventor of TexPower's own lithium nickel-manganese-aluminum (NMA) oxide cathode, and has co-authored 10+ patents and 30+ academic journal articles with near 10,000 citations and an h-index of 30.
