Bio:

Jon Fold von Bülow has a persistent entrepreneurial attitude and a vigorous interest in energy technologies for the future. He began working with fusion energy in the early 2000s and has been deeply engaged in hands-on research and development of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery materials since 2010 at the UCSB-MIT-Caltech ICB. Jon is a Co-Founder of Morrow Batteries and started as Head of R&D in May 2021, leading the Research and Development (R&D) activities at Morrow Research Centre (Grimstad, Norway) and Morrow Development Centre (Arendal, Norway). He is responsible for executing Morrow’s product development activities across all generations and product lines. Prior to joining Morrow, Jon played a key role at Topsoe, where he was responsible for developing and upscale advanced lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cathode materials. His work included international assignments in Ulm, Germany, and Suzhou, China, where he led efforts to transition innovative materials from lab-scale synthesis to full-scale industrial production.
