Presentation Title:Challenges of key materials for solid-state batteries and application practices of niobium
Abstract:
Solid-state batteries have garnered unprecedented attention due to their potential advantages, including high safety, high specific energy, high rate capability, long lifespan, and high cost-effectiveness. Among these, solid-state electrolytes and high-capacity cathodes play a crucial role as key materials in solid-state batteries. Firstly, the current status, development trends, as well as the challenges and strategies for key materials of solid-state batteries are analyzed. Secondly, the technological and product development progress of Beijing Easpring in recent years is introduced, including various solid states electrolytes (oxides, sulfides, multi- component composites), as well as several cathode materials (lithium cobalt oxide, lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, lithium-rich manganese oxide, and lithium iron phosphate) for solid state batteries. Finally, the modification mechanism and role of Nb in solid-state electrolytes and high energy density cathode materials are explained.
